Summer Taxes are mailed out July 1st and are due on or before September 14, 2023. Summer Taxes may be deferred and in order to apply submit our Deferment Form. Winter taxes are mailed out December 1st and are due February 29,2024. After February 29, all unpaid taxes are forwarded as "delinquent" to the Mackinac County Treasurer for payment, with additional penalties assessed by the County. After February 29, 2024, contact the Mackinac County Treasurer or at 906-643-7318. Failure to receive your tax bill does not waive interest or penalty. Please notify us of any address changes you may have.
WHEN SENDING YOUR TAX PAYMENT PLEASE BE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR STATEMENT SO WE CAN PROPERLY IDENTIFY THE PARCEL YOU ARE PAYING FOR.
Office hours will be 10am to 3pm Monday through Thursday.
Payments can be deposited in the "payments" slot at the Township Hall at any time.
